69 percent of applicants to the University of Evansville were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Evansville, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Evansville enrolled 2,443 students in fall 2018, including 2,243 in undergraduate and 200 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

59 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 37 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (68 percent) and Black or African American (5 percent).

The school admitted 69 percent of the 4,580 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
