Cost of college went up for all students at The Salon Professional Academy-Evansville

Tuition and fees rose 3.3 percent for 2018-19 at The Salon Professional Academy-Evansville, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $15,900 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $510 more than the $15,390 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 35 students received grants or scholarships totaling $132,628 and 36 students took out student loans totaling more than $236,950.

Including all undergraduates (140), 117 students used grants or scholarships totaling $539,690, and 125 students took out $947,984 in federal student loans.
