Mighty Oaks Men's Basketball Summer Camp and Shootout Schedule
Mighty Oaks basketball head coach Ken French announced the schedule for the summer camps and shootouts set to be held in 2022.
Team One-Day Shootouts are designed for the coach who would like to bring his junior varsity and varsity teams together for one event. Each team will be given at least four games. Team shootouts will be held on the following days:
Middle School - June 8
Varsity/JV - June 9
Varsity/JV - June 10
Varsity/JV - June 15
The Hard Work Camp will be held July 10-15, and is open to players ages 10-18. An emphasis will be placed on: offensive and defensive fundamentals, team play, and work ethic. Registration includes a reversible camp jersey and a camp t-shirt for all campers. Certificates and trophies will be awarded to the MVP, Hustle Award, Best Defender, Free Throw Champion, 3/3 Cut-Throat Champion, 5/5 Triple Champions, and the Camper of the Week.
Shooting Camp for players ages 10-18 will be held on Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, from 1:00-3:00 pm. This two-day camp is designed for individuals who want to improve their shooting technique from the ground up.
Point Guard Camp will be held on Thursday, June 16, from 9:30 am-1:00 pm. This one-day camp is designed for those who play the lead-guard position and want a more in-depth look at point guard play.
