North High School standout Cordell Coburn’s college team lost in NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, March 11

On Tuesday, March 11, former North High School standout Cordell Coburn’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 2 p.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium against Illinois State Redbirds.
