On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Mater Dei High School standout Sophie Kleiman’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Mater Dei High School standout Sophie Kleiman’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 11-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the College of Charleston Cougars.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at Patriots Point Athletics Complex against College of Charleston Cougars.
